PRP Treatments.
What is PRP?
Platelet-Rich Plasma is derived from your blood. After a small sample is taken, it’s processed to concentrate the platelets, which are rich in growth factors that support tissue repair and regeneration. (As seen in the preparation images)
Conditions Treated with PRP
PRP therapy is often used for:
- Tendon injuries (e.g., tennis elbow, Achilles tendinitis)
- Muscle tears
- Ligament sprains
- Joint pain
- Wound healing
- Aesthetic indications such as acne scars, skin texture, sun damage and hair loss.
How Does PRP Help?
The growth factors in platelets promote the repair of damaged tissues, reduce inflammation, and support faster recovery.
It’s a non-surgical option that complements rehabilitation and physiotherapy.
For the skin, it can be combined with many other treatments.
What to Expect
PRP is minimally invasive and typically performed in an outpatient setting. Recovery times vary, but many patients experience significant improvement within days to weeks.
